When the Cats Away... Take 2 &3: Save the TaTa's, and Gracies Fancy Nancy Party

So last night i participated in Bunco for breast cancer, it was crazy.

i had no idea how big a deal this event would be, there were tons of people.

It was such a fun night, it was themed 50's pink, but instead of doing the typical poodle skirt look...

we decided to do a rockabilly theme, and i must say our group looked great , we didn't win the costume award because apparently some of our girls were Showing to much of their tatas... naughty girls.

It was awesome to see so many people get so into such a fun theme for such a great cause.

So i haven't played bunco since i was in high school, and....

it was still really fun, but it might just be the great girls i got to play with.....

There was a silent auction, and a live auction. I won a save the tatas shirt and a lot of pink Tupperware! And i almost won a pink guitar... then i realized i don't play the guitar....so i ended up bidding and winning a jar of cookies,( for a 70$, oh well it is for a good cause). So i didn't get home until 12:30. So i am ready to call it a night, but... as i am unloading all my wins the cellophane holding the Tupperware rips open and all my Tupperware goes rolling down the street...so here i am dressed up silly chasing Tupperware down my street at 12:30 at night, and then it started to snow....seriously! i just had to laugh at how ridiculous my neighbors must think i am...oh well!

So after taking the sitter home i curled up in bed and had a great slumber until 6:00 when i hear LOUD noises down stairs...i drag myself down to find Jt and kaylen surrounding the cookie jar. And oddly enough there seems to be something missing....the cookies.

Oh boy i guess i just bought my kids a 70$ sugar high...great.

The Sugar High:
So we had a birthday party to go to....i bet you can imagine what a jar full of cookies and a party can do to kids. yep that was pretty much it...
we went early so that i could do Gracie's hair in a fun, funky updo. Grace was super patient and her hair turned out darling.

my kids had a blast although the sugar they consumed earlier that morning was rearing its ugly head. Lisa planned a great bash... we made necklaces,

played pin the tail on the donkey, had a pinata, ( which Jt demolished), and added sprinkles to our parfaits and cupcakes.

and of coarse Lisa read us fancy Nancy.

I think playing dress up in public was my favorite part.
