The Leap Year Debacle, and Party Planning.
Not 'Leap Year' the movie...
Although I drug,... dragged?...Jeremy to see it and we really liked it, ( Yep, I said we. ) that is not, however what this post is about.
This post is about my header/titles: 366 Pages and 1/366 and so on. You may have been wondering if I knew there were only 365 days in a year? Well i do actually.... contrary to public believe I am not completely brain dead. I am however completely trusting/gullible. My friend, who should remain nameless.... but wont...Rachel is brilliant. She is one of those people who was just born a smarty pants. So i trust her... completely. She told me it was a leap year... so of coarse why would I double check it... I mean hello, there is even a movie in the theatres
titled Leap year. So obviously it must be a leap year... right? Wrong! Oh Valerie, this will teach you to double check your source; even if it is smarty pants Rachel. So to my brother who was born on leap year... another happy unbirthday to you this year.
Lessons learned:
1.) leap year appears on years when we have presidential elections
2.)Valerie thinks Rachel is always right...
3.) Rachel is not always right
Now on to the Party Planning:
Ari turned 30 this year... so we made it special with a fondue dinner party.
Nikki did the food,
and I did the decor.

Your party turned out great! The mascara is amazing, and I loved the dland pics, as well as the funny banter. Hilarious. Also, I have to admit I was wondering myself about the 365 days header. We all make mistakes, right, Rach? I agree that she's the smarty pants one, though. So good to see you girl!
Hah, I didn't even notice the 366 days...guess I'm a smarty pants too :) Finally..party pics..I have been checking two or three times a day for this! I LOVE it & the polka dot ball totally made the decor (and the table settings & the clock pic). Soooo adorable! Also...I might have to try that mascara when I run out of the ones I'm trying now :)
When I saw the previews for that movie I thought, "Huh, it's leap year this year?! Happy Birthday to Dave!" ...and I never gave it another thought- I bet lots of people will make this mistake :)
I hope someday I can attend on of your parties- they look SO much fun.
Make sure you tell her Happy Birthday for me! She is so funny! I am sad I missed the fun party! I miss you guys!!!!!
I love that we just had a conversation about this... but now I'm sad that we will have one less post from you this year. The party looks AMAZING, and is even more incredible that you pulled that off after driving like a million hours with your kids. You're my rock star.

Wowzas--were these the decorations you were talking about while you were here? I can't believe how amazing it looks! You always do everything up to the top! I love it!!!!!!
