Some,( or all...quiet you) of what I blog may be boring... but is for posterity so deal. And with that nice preface, let the boredom commence...
The first day of school 2009
Jt hates having his picture taken, kaylen is super excited to be a big kindergartner, and Sam is the newest pant less wonder,( no he did not go to school with no pants... he just wanted to pretend to be one of the big kids.). Why no pants you ask? Um, potty training, (i will have you know there are some super spiffy Spiderman undies under there...pft what do you think, i am ok with exhibitionists?).
Here Jt is with his teacher Miss Eisentrager... Einetrsahgrfuelabhjbv? yeah we will be calling her Miss E.
Kaylen with beloved Mrs. Carter, ( Jt's teacher from last year.)
How are they holding up there first week? well, I'll tell you...
Recap so far;
Day 1.)
Kaylen= good day...except i notices she somehow acquired some pencil grippers, and crayons. Hmmmm.... don't worry the mystery will be unfurled on day 2.
Jt= got in trouble for talking....um, where did he get that from??? srsly i wanted to tell Mrs E. hi, have you met me? what do you expect? i refrained... but come on who can blame the kid? OOO and i might add he claims it was his neighbors not him. Good one, I so never used that one.
Day 2.)
At drop off Kaylen cries, no Kaylen screams, OK, we'll call it "wailing". I rush out amidst all the craz, as instructed...I call the school about 45 min later to find out how my princess is. Mrs. Carter says, " she is doing great, she just shrieked for HALF AN HOUR." Now i ask you, how is that great? ugh.
at pick up:
Kaylen= good day minus the "wailing"
Jt= good until 2:30 when he went to the bathroom and was "screaming"... he scared an entire kindergarten class... he says he was "singing" What? Sopranos can be loud... alright don't worry he got in trouble,(kinda).
We start walking to the car when i notice Kaylens sock....
what did i tell you, mystery solved. we are going to start calling her the crying klepto... can a kleptomaniac steel from themselves??? She has beeen stealing things from her own pencil box. Uh, mmmk?
Day 3.) Kaylen cries, her crying lasted 5 min...that was all. my crying lasted 5 hrs...aint no thang.
reports at the end of the day... good days...
Day 4.)
Kaylen = no tears at drop off and no kleptomania = good day!
Jt = didn't finish his writing...(4 sentences, he was given an hour.) worried much?....
So naturally i asked him,"Hey dude, i hear you didn't quite finish your writing. Why not Bud?" his response... brace yourself, "Yes i did! She (She, meaning Miss E) must have erased it.".......um....... I have no words......
Please get better, it must get better, it will get better...
side note... Potty Training Grand total for the past 4 days:
Success =4, 2 of which were very big successes if ya know what i mean *wink wink* or should i say *stink stink*...and the rest i "successfully" mopped up...niiiice.

Oh my gosh!!! Hilarious!!!! I love that Kaylen has a school supply addiction (we can be non-klepto.s together) & JT's excuses are hard to argue with. I hate it when teachers erase your work & change your answers...
I love that stuffed sock picture! Hilarious! That is too sad that she cried and had a hard time at first...I think I'd bawl just like you. I bet you hurt worse than she did though...thanks for the day by day descriptions! Good luck with the continued P-training and mopping!!
Val if I'm having a rough day I just need to read your blog, you're hilarious! BTW, Kaylen's gonna be the chick who takes home office supplies...I can see it now =)
Awesome! No more diapers! You lucky girl you. Those kids of your have so much personality. Kaylen's socks are really cute too, we should wear them for our next race. Maybe I should get running again!
